Why Manufacture in this blog?

When choosing my manufactories, I follow this rule: I am always after the story that is behind them. That´s why the story is the first thing I´m presenting to you. It doesn´t actually matter if I personally like the product or not. What matters is the story and you can find the products it is about in the e-shop.
Why is there an e-shop where you can buy the products? My life so far has had a lot to do with trade and marketing. Unfortunately, the products have never been emotional. It was always about technical solutions to problems in a given industry. I have always dreamed of offering products that would make me happy.
For many years, I have been enthused by products that have a story behind. For instance, I have a leather jacket that was made in one of the remaining few workshops using horse skin. They only make 2,000 jackets a year and the manufactory owner is, fortunately, hesitant to make more of them, despite frequent investors´ requests. 2,000 jackets are just enough what the owner needs for his living (what a beautiful anti-capitalistic statement). And so he was much more excited to hear that his daughter, after her initially refusal, would eventually take charge of his manufactory.
A man can feel contented when it is all they need for a “comfortable” life. Oh, and the jacket is sold with life-time “guarantee”. What I don´t remember is whether the guarantee covers the person wearing it or just the jacket.
With my pictures and videos of manufactories I would like to get over to you a feeling as if you were there yourself. I would like you to recall the story that is behind the product every time you hold it in your hand. I would like you to have an urge to tell everyone a story linked to your product so that you make it something special, which it undeniably is. It has its individuality and it is no mass product, as it is often available just in a limited amount.
Moreover, it is important to value such manufactories and support them as they deserve it for their creative and sustainable approach and love to product making.

One day I won´t be able to recall my journeys, or all the places where I have stayed. In spite of that my journeys have had an impact on me – when I was living them through. They changed me and formed me. They influenced my attitudes and kept me fresh. No matter if I can remember that later on or not. Without my journeys I wouldn´t be the person I am.
